Summary
The event page has a graph that renders really tiny bars for mobile users. It would be better if the following were considered for mobile UX:

  • Add a dropdown to select what we want to sort by in the chart. The current method has multiple data bars per team, and we really only care about looking at one at a time.
  • Make the chart bigger so all team numbers are visible on the x axis. Scrolling the chart on the x axis seems fine if it makes it more useful
  • Consider adding scatter plots for points scored in auto vs teleop. Sorting by default points should be one slice in the dropdown, but it can be helpful to see how it breaks out by phase of play, location etc.

Scope

  • Implement suggestions above
  • Propose new visualizations for the event page and implement them if they are useful
