I am unable to make this .swf file work with your solution. It was created with Adobe Flex Builder.
The .swf file download is here http://explozer.itspx.com/iphoneflex2/QuickSample.swf.zip
It should look like this http://explozer.itspx.com/iphoneflex2/QuickSample.swf .

I suspect that Flex components are far out of reach of Gordon at this point in development, especially since I'm pretty sure that even basic Actionscript isn't really supported yet.

Flex apps use SWF 9 or 10, i guess. Gordon currently supports only SWF 1 and 2 files. ActionScript support will be included in future builds.
