I'm using version 1.7.4 but noticed wildcard imports do not get fixed.

This would be an issue for the upstream google format project to address, this plugin only wraps that library.

Since the upstream project moved to requiring java 9+ I'd not updated this plugin further as I still required Java 8 support myself - tho I think it's about time I updated it to the current release.
