Context/background

We need to conduct a thorough review of the validation messages currently implemented on the platform to assess their clarity, consistency, and effectiveness in guiding users. The objective is to improve the user experience by refining these messages to provide clearer guidance and feedback to users when input errors occur.

What needs to be done?

  • Create a collection of screenshots of where each validation message is shown along with the message (to focus only on this now, please see the comment)
  • Evaluate each validation message for clarity, consistency, and relevance to user actions
  • Identify any messages that can confuse users
  • Propose revisions or improvements to the wording and format of the validation messages to help users
  • Design and implement the revised validation messages
  • Document the updated validation messages for future reference and maintenance

Thank you!

As starting point please create a document or a slide deck where each slide/page contains following info (please focus only on this part, the rest will be communicated by PO):

  • Screenshot: [Include the screenshot here]
  • Validation Message: "Please enter a valid email address."
  • Context: This message appears when the user inputs an invalid email format in the registration form.
  • Trigger: Attempting to submit the form with an incorrect email format.
  • Notes: Consider whether the message is clear and helpful for the user.
