A flexible schedule of 30 minutes meet and greet and 20mins break leaves 40 minutes talk time. This could be 2x20minute talks who set up at the break or shorter talks with setup time - depends what speakers have to offer - demo/presentation from own pc may take 5 min change over (setup/test during break), Web presentation 2min changeover - use supplied Chrome Book.

To copy notes from my email, my suggested tweaks are:

  • Change the "Previous offers" list so that all users can see all offers - but can only edit their own (admins can edit all of them).
  • Add a column to indicate whether the talk is scheduled at the next upcoming meeting or not, which then allows for
  • A sum of the already-scheduled minutes for the next meeting.

The step of adding an offered talk into the agenda of a meeting could only be done by an admin. However, see the next idea I'm about to offer...
