The PO files currently generate both English-Japanese and Spanish-Japanese translation files. Not that ONLY the English sections need to be translated. It appears that the "locale" files are nested in each lesson.

carpentries-i18n#6

Please ignore the Spanish lessons in the Japanese lesson. These need to retained so that all languages are available in the final lesson.
