Hello again. In my previous question, the drone problem was related to SBC and it working properly. Now I have a problem with another drone, that was functioning well until yesterday when wifi connection broke permanently. When we get a closer look at the logs, gs detects a new session and tries to decrypt incoming packages, but fails. GS log:
On drone side, packets are correctly injected which was checked with tcpdump and netcat, but again, no connection was established with GS. Drone log
Drone config
GS config
Compiled driver version: v5.6.4.2_35491.20191025 What I tried was changing the modems, generating a new key pair for drone and gs, removing and reinserting driver again, and checking the power wiring and antenna connections. All that with no success. Do you have any guess what may be a problem? |

Well, @svpcom, your answer about ac180 modules, which die if they have disconnected or unmatched antennas was partially the cause of my problem. As it occurred, when I swapped both modems to a version with metal shielding around them, the problem disappeared. Since then I have got near-field probes and checked the EMI of the modems with and without shielding. As a result, I saw beautiful interferences ranging from 200MHz to about 500MHz on the modem without shielding. If you guys would like to I can share with you a spectrogram of three versions of AC180 which I have, to give you an overview to choose the best one to buy ;) |
