Can't find external library

It seems inappropriate to ask here.
But I don't see anywhere else to get answers.
I couldn't get an answer on discord.

I'm trying to create a plugin for Grist (https://www.getgrist.com/) in the Vite+Svelte environment.
I had an idea that it would probably be like this.

Svelte issues aren't the right place to get answers to usage questions like these. Discord, Reddit, Stackoverflow or our discussion board are a better place for this - therefore moving this into a discussion.
To get a proper answer I suggest you create a reproduction using the REPL or sveltelab.dev so that people can better understand what you're doing.

Use event handlers, I believe what you want is Svelte's 4 on:load (onload on Svelte 5) when loading the script at <svelte:head />, then just run your regular function and voilà:

But when I bring it to Vite, it says "Can't find name grist."
And PREVIEW Console seems to have an error.
How can I find the grist object?
