I've just tried to play around with the Shiny app and saved my cell. In the save file, there is a huge empty (white) space to the right of the image (see attached file). There are also significant white spaces on the three other sides of the image which are not as bad as the space on the right; however, if someone will try to combine multiple images for publication in a single panel, they might need to trim this extra space somehow.
Also, there is a slight misalignment of extracellular space and the left edge of the image. It might not be apparent on this low-res png, but quite obvious in the app. However, this seems to be a problem on the SwissBioPics side.
P.S. In the preview of this post, I don't see an issue in the file because of the white background in Github. If you are also using appearance with a light background, you might want to open the image externally to see what I mean.
