printing features #89

Can you go into what you mean by editing of images? |
I guess something like 'open in editing app' or 'show in file system', so I could scale images to avoud waste of paper space. |
You can control image size right now with syntax like Other printing customizations are probably pretty straightforward… |
hi Taylor, image scaling looks good and does not break image display in Nextcloud notes. However Nextcloud notes does not seem to scale. The double parenthesis in your example is not necessary. Other apps, like Zettlr, Typora, or MarkText, will not recognize that way of scaling either. Tangent's preferences, especially font settings and line spacing, are super. This is a nifty app and all other makrdown apps I tried are not easy to print with (either). I am used ti wysywig and Zettlr's or Typora's Typesetting requirements are a bit too much for me. I'd rather design my textm throw in some page breaks, add a footer if I can, scale the images, and print.. |
Printing in general is a complex problem. It's not been a priority for me, since it's not part of my workflow. I don't want to say "Tangent will not do this," because I think having some kind of basic print support does have value (even if it's just producing PDFs). However, I can't promise a quick implementation timeline right now. |
hi, Tayler
this is a very nice scaling possibiliety, bong my Nextcloud does not support the feature. Every Markdown editor I tried seems to have a different approach at scaling, so far, if they do at all.
regards, Daniel

I would like to see a printing feature to print content without wastint too much paper, so lines a bit closer than on screen, and image access for quick resizing or editing of images. I'd like to write diaries for construction sites and we need good image embedding.
