"readwise folder" in vault's root doesnt sync #10
Comments
the plug-in doesn't worry about maintaining the folder structure in Drive, it uploads and syncs all the files with their "relative paths" with respect to the vault as their file names. so a file named "sample note" stored under "folder 2" which itself is stored under "folder 1" would be uploaded as a file whose name would be: "folder 1/folder 2/sample note" so for your readwise folder the files are probably stored as: "Readwise/Books/Quick Passages" on Google Drive. Try and check on the Drive app/website to confirm it. |
i will try and personally test the plug-in with the Readwise plugin installed when i get time to see if there's any issue with it. |
I'll check later and provide with the infos , I already isolated the issue I think, I'll let ya know . I'll share in the next 48h when I can get ahold of my computer 🙃 thanks man |
https://help.readwise.io/article/125-how-does-the-readwise-to-obsidian-export-integration-work
readwise basically exports all files to a folder named "readwise" at obsidian base vault , right next to all md notes and folders
so it should work with gdrive sync technically, but somehow it doesnt ?
