During the changes for the Intro to Storybook tutorial (Angular version) I did some testing factoring in the feedback/ documentation and wasn't able to reproduce it. Closing for now, will circle back if any additional feedback arises |

what does this syntax even mean?? onClick: { action: 'clicked' } Why 'clicked'? what are the other types of strings I can use here? this syntax is worse -> handles: ['mouseover', 'click .btn'] also, how do you log actions of events further down the tree and not directly passed in through args?? |

just started the whole storybook thing, developer experience is pretty bad, angular signals zero docs, angular output signals, zero docs. Just a simple signalState example is not to be found |

Thanks for reaching out to us with your feedback. We appreciate it 🙏 ! For you and anyone else who comes across this discussion, we have semi-support for signals, which can be used already. However there's an upstream limitation (i.e., compodoc) that requires a new release so that we can properly support it. Until then, this case can be circumvented by explicitly defining the argType so that it can be appropriately inferred, as seen here and here. Hopefully in the coming weeks a new compodoc release will be out that addresses this scenario as mentioned in the following issue. When that happens, we'll gladly adjust the documentation and provide some examples of this pattern. |
