Given a YAML file:

{
   Fn::Join: []
}

The parser will fail with Invalid JSON!.

Expectation: Considering this is valid YAML, we were expecting this to work.

Options:

  • Debug messaging that says, "Determine document was JSON doc".
  • It works! ™
