Contributing to Stella

The best way to submit your changes to Stella is via a Pull Request.

First you should make sure that your fork is up to date (not behind) with stella-emu/stella:master:

If not, do a Fetch and merge. If necessary, solve all conflicts and commit and push the result.

Then do Open pull request:

This will show this website:

Make sure that "Able to merge" is checked. Else you probably have a conflict or are still behind stella:master.

Click on Create pull request which will bring you here:

Add your comment which describes the overall changes you made. The more details you add, the less likely further questions from the Stella maintainers will become. Then click on Create pull request again. This is your last step and will start the process for the Stella maintainers.
