"successful verification of image" log missing

Describe the bug
We are seeing occasional latency increase of connaisseur webhook(from several ms to around 5s) and would like to debug the issue

Expected behavior
In normal situation, COSIGN output of trust root is always followed by successful verification of image log.

When inspecting logs, I found some COSIGN output of trust root...The signatures were verified against the specified public key alone without successful verification of image following.

I'm wondering whether there are edge cases that connaisseur can run into this situation.
