since it's the hardware request, reposting it(#175) also here...

after i dropped my watchy on the carpet... the screen started behaving odd... i assume i need a screen replacement, but there is no available as for now at sqfmi shop.

however, i see that "GDEH0154D67" is a part-number screen by good-display co.
and there are addon modules compatible with that screens like front-light and touch screen.

so, it would be great to see the Watchy 3.0 upgrade with those modules (as in this module)!
basically, the front-light (or back-light) is great in dark environment.
and touch screen may help with more user-friendly ui (e.g. with LVGL support).

I've just ordered both of those displays (currently in transit) along with the associated development board.

I'm not going to lie, though I'm a seasoned software developer, hardware is fairly new to me, particularly using c++ but I've managed to get my head around the basics (firmware and watch face update plus some tweaks).

If I manage to make any progress when they arrive, I'll post an update.

Given that a similar touchscreen version of is available from the same manufacturer, I think this is a good idea. It would allow you to eliminate the buttons and simplify the watch's design.
