Who are we?

Zwin is an XR windowing system.
We also develop a VR-native desktop environment, Zen, the reference implementation of the Zwin protocol.

Why sponsor?

The funds collected are intended to support the development team, compensate those who have made significant contributions to the project, support travel expenses to attend international conferences, and purchase new headsets for testing.
And financial sponsorship motivates us very, very much!

Ambition

Almost all existing VR solutions can only display one app at a time. So developers have no way but to build one giant app that shows everything from the environment to objects. This induces monopoly, as only a massive company can create a compelling VR app.
Zwin solves this problem by displaying multiple 3D apps together so that each app only needs to provide specific functions, not the entire space. We hope that Zwin will make XR more open and inclusive.
