Hailing from Halifax Nova Scotia, I'm a grad student and research engineer with a passion for algorithms, both creating them and applying them. I'm currently working on building out the xtensor-signal repo to include common signal processing tools such as linear filters, FFTs, wavelets, peak finding... My goal is to create a toolset with the seamlessness of python while retaining the performance and interoperability of C++. Too many times I've developed code in python only to port it into C++ for some reason. Why can't C++ have all the library supports as python? Python can call C++ but calling python from C++ is a tricky endeavor.

My dream is have xtensor-signal be the C++ version of scipy.signals. All funding goes to freeing up my time to create generic tools for signal processing in C++! Let's free C++ developers from re-writing common algorithms.
