Hi! I'm isis, and my pronouns are they/them. I reside in San Francisco with my Irish Wolfhound, Merlin.

Merlin the Wolfhound

I've worked professionally on privacy technologies for over a decade, including Tor, Signal, Zcash, and many others. I'm currently focused on improving the state-of-the-art in cryptographic implementations of complex protocols, with a special interest in zero-knowledge proofs, signature schemes, and other sigma protocols. In the past I've helped design elliptic curves, signature schemes, anonymous credentials, and other protocols. I've also contributed significant volunteer efforts to non-profits like RiseUp and the Electronic Frontier Foundations. For my day job, I've run my own consulting and contracting company since 2008, with numerous S&P 500 and other big-name clientele.

Your sponsorship helps me take time away from consulting and contracting to do FOSS work which benefits all of us in the community, from the people experimenting with a weekend project to the two-person startup to making tools that large companies can use to improve the security of the products which many of us rely on.

You'll get access to a patron-only Slack channel where you can suggest improvements to my projects. While I can't promise that you'll get what you're asking for, as it might conflict with roadmaps and other plans, this is a great way to bring my attention to something that I might have missed in the flood that is my Github and Twitter notifications.
