Become a sponsor to Andrei Jiroh Halili
I'm Andrei Jiroh, an Autistic Filipino student and open-source developer/maintainer at @recaptime-dev and @lorebooks-wiki as the main backend developer in Node.js and Deno. I am also the @alpinelinux package maintainer for GitHub CLI and occasionally write on my blog.
A portion of donations to my personal GitHub Sponsors page will be allocated to @recaptime-dev to support the projects we build and their underlying infrastructure and operations. If you want to support Recap Time Squad more directly, visit our donate page for details. Recap Time Squad is fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation (d.b.a. Hack Club), a 501(c)(3) US nonprofit (EIN: 81-2908499).
Why sponsor?
- To make my open-source work more sustainable. Being a maintainer while neurodivergent/disabled in a developing country is hard and often easily burns me out. With this, I can keep the lights on for the projects while paying the bills. (Of course, this is not the "begging for your life in Spanish" meme if you're using Duolingo.)
- To go into full-time open-source maintainer. Right now, I am a full-time student with plans to go to the digital nomad route in the Philippines with remote work.
Sponsor benefits
The sponsor benefits listed here are still in the planning stage yet, but you'll be getting credits on personal open-source work as well as those listed under Recap Time Squad's sponsors in the future.
