Team Challenges

Stay tuned for updates on challenges for Summit Gardening Days 10/19-11/12. Happen to work at a company that cares a lot about software delivery? Why not ask them to sponsor prizes and challenges at Gardening Days? Visit our sponsor prospectus or reach out to @dnilasor in Spinnaker Slack to learn more.

Each team that demos their project(s) at the end of Gardening Days will compete for a team prize package in the challenge category that's the best fit. Challenge categories allow your hackathon project to compete in the category where your team will create the most impact. There are no strict eligibility requirements for what "counts" as a particular category, other than that SIG teams must be SIG-sponsored through active engagement in the SIG Slack channel.

The Spinnaker Challenge

Update Spinnaker core, fix bugs, build new plugins or other extensions, or create proposed features. It's hard to go wrong with any of these ideas. Multiple eligible submissions in this category will be rewarded.

Share Your Spinnaker Challenge

Create and share video, blog, and social content for the Spinnaker community. Multiple eligible submissions in this category will be rewarded.

The GitHub Challenge

Let these 6 stories, scoped by GitHub, Armory, and community engineers, inspire your team to compete for the GitHub Challenge's First and Second Prizes:
