I'm bumping up against this on a project. I need to be able to query for a certain type of asset, and this is not currently possible as it stands.

I think it'd be great if Embedded Assets had a table that stored some of the metadata from the embedded asset to query against.

Right now I plan to walk over the json files to search, but that is not very sustainable.
