Description

When embedding a video from Vimeo, the popup summary after you enter a url stutters rapidly. It looks to be continually bouncing between different sizes. I've tried YouTube and that is fine, it's just Vimeo that seems to be affected.

Here's a short capture of what's happening.

Screen.Recording.2022-05-10.at.2.13.20.PM.mov

It happens both on the main Assets page, and on the assets field modal.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open assets and click Embed button
  2. Enter url to Vimeo video
  3. Observe stuttering on summary popup

Other information

  • Embedded Assets version: 3.0.0
  • Craft CMS version: 4.0.1

I'm unable to reproduce this with just https://vimeo.com/165600551 - does this still happen if you try just that? If not, could you please post the full URL you're trying to embed? If so, could you please let me know which browser you're using?

I tried it with the full embedded url (what was used on their old site) as well as the short version you supplied. I also just checked with some other vimeo videos. It's doing the same thing. I'm in Chrome 101.0.4951.64 on MacOS. I verified everything was up to date in Craft and also cleared cache.

Interestingly, if you have the popup open where it's stuttering, and then go to a different tab and back then it's fixed. But definitely happening any time you put in a url and it loads the preview information.

Some further testing, Firefox and Safari are both fine. Edge has the same problem as Chrome (which makes sense both using Chromium).
