Several issues discuss outputting data at each time step (#262#252 and #144#45). Although it's not a complete fix for the reductions idea, it would be really helpful for analysis of higher-frequency fluctuations. Is there a way to do this?

I have dropped the ball on the custom time reductions PR (#289) for the past several months, but what you're describing should be easy to do once that has been finished...in a way it's the simplest time reduction: none at all :)
