Taxon Tree search does not always search properly

Describe the bug
When searching for a specific node in a tree sometimes the search will not search what you type and instead just show seemingly random results. This is a little inconsistent and I cannot recreate it everytime but it does happen often, I could also only consistently recreate this in the taxon tree but it could happen in the others

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to the taxon tree
2. Type in some letters so some results show up
3. See that the results that pop up are not what you searched

For a specific example:

1. Go to kufish_2_12
2. Click on the taxon tree
3. Type in 'stur' or 'sturi' (the existing taxa is 'sturio')
4. See that results are not limited to nodes that contain 'sturi'

Expected behavior
The search should always be limited to what is in the search bar

Additional context
Cannot recreate at all in 7.9.6.2 so I am marking it as regression however I know this is not as important as some of the other regression issues.

I have a slightly different issue. When I search for a taxon name, all I see is 'Nothing found'.
