Slower loading time

With the package installed, the response time for a page request here is up to 4 seconds slower.
Also the font icons are rendered seconds after.

I'm using this font:

on Chrome 91.0.4472.114 on Mac Catalina

When i turn of my internet connection, and run the Laravel app on my local machine, I also get these logs in the chrome console:
