Potentially relevant repositories within the FAO Soils portal are:

• Datahub contains general information about soil science and a repository of global , national and legacy soil maps and databases
• SoilEx is a collection of national laws and regulations related to soil and water (subset of FAOLEX)
• Publications a series of FAO publications related to soil
• National soil information centers
• Standard Operating Procedures is a knowledge source of the Glosolan network
• The Glosolan network includes a set of registered laboratories

Most of the Soils portal is based on a TYPO3 Content Management System, the information does not seem to be available through api's.

The FAO Data Catalog Portal is based on CKAN (see catalog) and TerriaJS. Some of the spatial data is also made available through a catalogue based on geonetwork instance spatial data is made available as WMS through geoserver, for example Country boundaries. The system contains many soil, water and land data.

The Microdata catalogue is a registry of mainly survey and statistics data on various agronomy related topics
