I would like to use paper icon theme with KDE's default breeze-dark theme, but when I do, the arrows and icons on the top bar are too dark. See here with a comparison to papirus' implementation of this. This occurs even when I am using the Paper-Mono-Dark icon set which I assume is meant to be compliant with dark UI themes. I'm not entirely sure, but I wouldn't imagine this is the way it's supposed to be.
For reference I'm using the paper-icon-theme aur package, and I have had this issue on other distros.
