I'm on Arch with Gnome 3.30 and in some Gnome applications (for example Nautilus and Baobab) the stock Adwaita cursor is used instead of the Paper one.
I've solved the issue editing the file /usr/share/icons/Paper/index.theme, changing the line
"Inherits=Adwaita,gnome,hicolor"
to
"Inherits=gnome,hicolor"
since this is the configuration in "Pop" icon theme and it was already working.
Is it possible to make this the default?
