duplicate schedules

when adding a new schedule item the duplication check is not correct.

@smiggleworth I noticed that if I add a schedule using the same name within a loop, it will create two or three duplicates. It looks like this is because the check is looking for a persisted schedule.

Was this the issue that you identified or was there something else?

that sound like the problem, I haven't had issues recently, but if there is something we should change let me know.
