Having X-plane configured for one Full Screen Monitor and one IOS monitor, I tested the Better Pushback using the Laminar B737 simulation. It failed in exactly the same way as Zibo's. I then tried the following permutations:
1. I changed the status of the Full Screen Monitor to Unused and then changed the IOS to the Full Screen Monitor. I now only have one monitor configure in X-Plane. I then loaded the Laminar B737 and selected Better Pushback from the drop down plugin list. The lines appeared and I was able to set a path and have the tug move the airplane.
2. I reloaded X-plane and loaded the Zibo B737 simulation. I still only had the single monitor in Full Screen Monitor mode. Selecting Better Pushback I was able to set a path and have the tug move the airplane according to the set directions.
3. I reloaded X-Plane and reconfigured my three monitors in their original configuration having offsets. I re-configured the IOS monitor to be Unused. However, I was unable to set the path as my mouse was offset from the airplane and was unable to position the mouse over the selected location to set the path and hit enter.
4. Leaving the monitors as is, I reloaded X-Plane and then loaded the Zibo B737 simulation. Again the Better Pushback plugin worked allowing me to imagine a path for the aircraft. However, I was unable to set the path as my mouse was offset from the airplane and was unable to position the mouse over the selected location to set the path and hit enter.
My conclusion is that Better Pushback works with X-plane 12.
However, it stops working when X-Plane is configured with an IOS monitor. The strange part is that the Better Pushback commands appear on the IOS monitor but do not appear when one does not have an IOS monitor configured.
While it displays a proposed path in a multiple monitor configuration, the mouse is offset from the plan resulting in the inability to set a pushback path.
