Over the last few days, I've started diving into the sirixdb codebase to get familiar with its structure and functionality.
I would like to contribute to this project.

Is anyone currently working on this issue, or has it been assigned to someone? If not, I'd like to start working on it.

Additionally, If anyone has any insights, suggested approaches, or considerations regarding native image generation or profile-guided optimization strategies for this issue, your input would be highly valuable.

We have already a native-image directory with some files, but apparently there are some issues regarding the Chronicle Bytes dependency.
