Is it possible to add an environment variable to customise the error symbol? I have my own fork for basically just this reason.
The desired behaviour would be that when a return code is non-zero, I could get a different symbol (alongside the colour indicator).

I just found the customisation note in the wiki. Does this mean this won't be officially supported?
