I'm a big fan of your command-line utility and want to use it as a way to store some frequently used commands and snippets. Is it possible to allow snippets to run in your current command-line session when the text in the 'um pages' is clicked? Or can anyone suggest me a command-line utility that might be more usefull to obtain this functionality?
Kind regards,
Gilles
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
um is really just an elaborate shell script that ties together a bunch of programs. So when you view an um page, you use an external program, typically either less or man. So adding this feature would involve changing those programs, not um.
Hypothetically, you could get um to use a different pager program that supported something like this. See the Configuration section of the README for how to do that.
