Bug Description

The alert/notice about a failed update can't be interacted with when the sidebar is collapsed.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have a collapsed sidebar.
2. Cause the update to fail. Currently the staging app seems to do that by itself (https://community.signalusers.org/t/56866/324).

Actual Result: The alert about the update failure can be viewed by hovering over the icon in the sidebar, but clicking it does nothing and clicking on a link in the message itself is impossible because it disappears when you stop hovering the icon in the sidebar.

Expected Result: The alert should perhaps retry by default when pressing on the icon, or (I think, preferably) it should not disappear when trying to click on a link in it.
