Doesn't start properly and hangs when running on Linux Fedora 39 #6687

I installed 6.39.1 from Flathub and it exits about 5 seconds after starting it, before I have a chance to link my device. Fedora 38:

Unfortunately, neither the rpm nor the snap package are officially supported. Please reach out to the folks who provide those unofficial packages. I'm going to close this. |
Large part of Linux community is RPM based. Need official support, so we have better experience installing and running signal desktop i.e., dnf install signal-desktop |
Bug Description
The signal app starts but seems to hang not connecting and not displaying any messages.
Steps to Reproduce
rm -rf ~/.config/Signal/
signal-desktop
Actual Result:
Hangs. Nothing displayed other than the 3 dots tumbleweed ...
