It would be useful to be able to 

1.  delete all selected records, or the complement.  
2.  create a new basedata using the selected records or their complement.  

An option to retain empty groups should be given.

Much of this can already be done using the Exclude interface, but having it in 
the View Labels tab will be more intuitive for most users.
