What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Use the labels view to display a BaseData set with label properties, some 
of which are not set.

The issue is that those properties that have no value are converted into 
zeroes, which is pretty misleading.  

Changing them to a nodata value of -99999 is the simplest solution, and 
hopefully won't clash with valid values.
