Getting Started

Open the file, command-line-guide.pdf, for tips on how to use the command line to search, filter and inspect data.

Premise

There's been a murder in Terminal City, and TCPD needs your help.

To figure out whodunit, you need access to a command line.

Once ready, clone this repo, or download it as a zip file.

git clone <github url here>

Open the Terminal and start by reading the file instructions.

cat instructions

cat is a command that will print the contents of the file called instructions for you to read.

Prefer using cat rather than a text editor to view these files.

Note: 99.9% of the text in the project is gibberish, but buried in it are actual clues that, when followed, will enable one to the identity of the murderer.
