We have experienced a number of intermittent issues with various Mesh Extenders recently with respect to the radio module.
It seems that the radio is listening to boot messages when it is trying to power up and do things.
NOTE: we have seen the same radio start as a happy radio then become a sad radio after solely a reboot (e.g. 1CAFA at Kalman/Moly's house) - didn't need to be flashed for anything... we think this device is one of the radios we took out and programmed externally and put back in as it had previously worked back at the house THEN had a red LED THEN worked again after intervention.
Potential hardware fix to add an analogue switch? Investigation required.
