Installed on an LG 20 plus and an old HTC, both set up on the same WIFI network and the Serval Mesh can't find each other ("0 peers") in the app. I tried on two different wifi networks.
Is there documentation on the requirements of the Wifi router to run local Wifi calling? are there further steps I can run without having to root and try creating Adhoc wifi on Android?

Right now, at least one broadcast UDP packet needs to arrive in one direction, with either a broadcast or unicast packet able to be transmitted the other way.
In large infrastructure wifi networks, broadcast packets are often simply dropped.
Android typically blocks incoming broadcast packets while the screen is off. And some wifi chipsets used in android have compatibility issues that prevent them ever receiving broadcasts.
We have implemented a way to scan the entire IP subnet with unicast packets, but we haven't turned it on by default.
