Hi

Gonic provides API for Lastfm but that is a closed source privately owned source. It would be nice if Gonic supports MusicBrainz at least for rich metadata for artists and the music.

Rompr for MPD provides support for MusicBrainz, Wikipedia etc as an example https://github.com/fatg3erman/RompR
