syntax error at or near ":" #5

I have this at the top of my api/app.js file

require('pg-spice').patch(require('pg'));

but down in one of my controllers I get the error stated above

and from the database

 ERROR:  syntax error at or near ":" at character 42
STATEMENT:  SELECT * FROM v2_sp_get_queue_operations(:application_token::uuid, :limit::integer);
