Extraterm-qt Window toggle doesn't work

When hitting Toggle Show/Hide window it either:

• hides the window and doesn't show it again upon hitting toggle again
• hides the window briefly and brings it back without having to hit toggle again
• doesn't hide the window at all

So far I've been unable to reproduce a predictable behaviour.

Looks like this (quality reduced to reduce size):

Arch linux
Kernel: Linux 6.11.5-arch1-1.1-g14
GNOME Version: 47
Windowing system: Wayland

Installed from AUR as extraterm-bin:

$ pacman -Q extraterm-bin
extraterm-bin 0.78.0-1
$

Edit:
Tried with 0.79 as well, same issue.

I suspect this is Wayland related.

How so? Also what would be a possible way of troubleshooting/fixing this? I don't think going back to X11 would be a step forward.
