Lack of integration testing hiding problems in the workflow. #149

Issues like #145 and #148 would have likely been caught by testing the gem against a test environment, or a VCR recording.

I want an integration test suite so that bugs and regressions are more obvious.

Note: It is worthwhile to consider that a refactor #143 is slowly making its way to v4.
