WallectConnect URI is empty, when testing on Testnet

Maybe I am wrong, but when I tried Pera Wallet Walletconnect interface, when a tried to connect, the WalletConnect interface gave me a QR code, which I could scan with my mobile phone. Here the wallet connect URI is empty. How is it supposed to work?
