<h3>Setup guide</h3>
<p>Guide for new users:</p>
<ol>
<li><a href='#register_form' onClick='return show_block("register_form");'>Register</a> with your username, password, email and GRC reward address</li>
<li>Download and install the BOINC client from <a href='https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php'>their site</a> (if you don't already have it installed)</li>
<li>Change BOINC client to advanced view, then use this pool as account manager</li>
<li>If you did that all correctly, you see your host in "your hosts"</li>
<li>Attach projects to your host</li>
<li>Sync your BOINC client with the pool</li>
<li>Wait and sync one more time after 10 minutes</li>
<li>Crunch workunits and wait for rewards (from 2 to 5 days)</li>
</ol>
<p>If you are changing pools:</p>
<ol>
<li>Detach from previous pool</li>
<li>Remove all projects from your BOINC client</li>
<li>Attach your BOINC client to this pool</li>
<li>Add your projects</li>
<li>Sync your BOINC client with the pool</li>
<li>Wait and sync one more time after 10 minutes</li>
<li>Crunch workunits and wait for rewards (from 2 to 5 days)</li>
</ol>
<p>Your RAC on previous pool will fall, and your RAC on this pool will grow (that takes time)</p>
<p>Please note that the pool only sends rewards for projects that use the pool's account. If you are using the pool's account then this should match up with your BOINC client. Check that you using current pool account:</p>

<p>Also make sure that your attached projects in your hosts list on the pool say that it's "synced, checked":</p>

<p>You also can try <a href='./coinhive.php'>reverse pool</a> or <a href='https://hivepool.arikado.ru'>hivepool</a>, where you can mine Monero for Gridcoin.</p>

<h3>How it works</h3>
<p>In Gridcoin you receive rewards for BOINC projects when your coins stake. Most people recommend having at least 5000 Gridcoin to stake in a timely manner, 6 months is the limit before your rewards expire. So, if you haven't got a lot of Gridcoin and aren't planning on putting money into it you can use one of the pools instead.</p>
<p>Each whitelisted project are rewarded with equal amount of coins. Rewards distributed between Gridcoin users on BOINC projects in accordance with contribution.</p>
<p>When the pool's wallet stakes, the reward is distributed between all projects using pool proportion (see Pool stats page). Each project's reward distributed between contributors in accordance with contribution. Then rewards sent.</p>
