How can I see logs from a custom validation function?

Rule.custom(async (title) => {

    const params = { title };

    console.log(title) // I can't see the log anywhere!

    const results = await client.fetch<Company[]>(query, params);
    return results.length === 0 ? true : "Title must be unique";
})

Currently, I am still seeing the error message even if the title is unique! The error message goes away when I add space to the title, weird!
