Hi. I have the official Dropbox client installed in some of my computers and Maestral in others. I don't know whether this had happened before but today I just updated Maestral and decided to test it. I deleted one file on my laptop which has the official Dropbox client and the file was not deleted from my desktop computer which has Maestral installed. I thought Maestral was not synching properly so I deleted a file in one of the folders on my desktop. Maestral did work and that file was deleted from the folder in my laptop.
What is bad is that after a while files that have been deleted in the computers with the Dropbox client but have not been deleted in my desktop appear again in all computers. This does not happen if instead of deleting a file, I add one. When I do that in a different computer, Maestral does its job and the file appears in the synchronized folder.
Is there anything very basic about how Maestral works that I'm not understanding?
