For skin fetching problems

  • I have tried generating skin manually on mineskin.org and it works there.
  • Additionally, I have tried fetching skins from player usernames, and it works too.

Issue

  • I'm not using TLauncher, I am using MultiMC.

Describe the bug

When trying to upload a local skin, nothing happens after I click apply. Literally nothing. No message in the log, and no flicker of the character that would indicate that a skin is reloaded. The current skin is preserved.

This bug is not present in MC 1.21.3

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load a world
  2. Hit escape -> Skin Customization -> Fabric Tailor -> Loca Skin upload
  3. Drag and drop a png from the file explorer onto the Minecraft windows
  4. Click apply

Logs

Again nothing is logged at all upon clicking apply:

Are you using any other mods?

None beside Fabric API

Additional context

None I can think of
